Customizable Pop-Up Paper Spheres

Famous in Japan for his three-dimensional pop-up art, Seiji Tsukimoto teaches you to make 15 amazing globe-shaped, customizable paper forms using only cutting and folding—and then shows you how to turn each into unique pieces, adding your own embellishments, decorations, or words. In this latest book in his "Wonderful Paper Spheres" series, Tsukimoto presents designs that draw on a variety of themes: Classic Children''s Tales: * Cinderella * Alice''s Teatime Holidays: * Christmas * Easter Special Celebrations: * Birthdays * Weddings And More! Each design folds down to a flat surface and, when pressed at both ends, shifts to a sphere that features images, messages, and intricate patterns. You''ll learn to assemble forms with 3, 6, 10, and 18 rings in five difficulty levels—super novice, novice, intermediate, advanced, and advanced designs with doors. Once you''ve mastered the designs, use the ready-to-assemble templates to customize your own spherical pop-up forms. Then display your creations or present them to family and friends, who will enjoy and treasure your personalized creations for years to come.
