Om denne bog

Produktbeskrivelse
Compleat Tangler brings together a glorious collection of Thelwell''s fishing cartoons. What do fishermen really get up to when they abandon a warm bed before the crack of dawn, stuff a haversack with tins of assorted maggots, half a hundredweight of pulped bread and a folding campstool, and disappear into the drizzle? Thelwell presents his report. All four re-issues are tongue-in-cheek guides to varied hobbies and country pursuits; fishing, golfing, sailing and gardening Re-introducing Thelwell to the generation who grew up with him, as well as capturing a new audience for these nostalgic and quintessentially British gems To tie in with Thelwell''s centenary, Allison & Busby are proudly republishing four classic cartoon books in stunning new livery in paperback for the first time
